 Mold Spores Question: I'm going to order the dust masks however my biggest allergy problem is with molds.Are these masks effective aganist mold spores.I understand mold spores are approx .5-.8microns will these masks filter molds effectively. Answer: The information that we have suggests mold spores are slightly large. Most spores are between 5 - 25 microns in size. Our standard dust & pollen mask by 3M should be capable of removing 90 - 95 percent of mold spores.
